Plastex holds a Certificate of Registration and operates a Quality Management System complying with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for the manufacture of PVCu windows, doors, porches and patio doors.

All Plastex products are manufactured under BS 7412:2002 Certification. This is awarded to companies manufacturing to the highest quality standards defined by the British Standards Institute.

Our ‘HS’ high security range of casement windows is certificated to BS 7950:1997, which provides for an enhanced security specification for windows to be installed in domestic dwellings.

Plastex is licensed to use the Secured by Design logo on its ‘HS’ range of windows and can also supply and install composite entrance doors to Secured by Design standards.

Our certification under Investors in People is testimony to the importance we place on developing our staff and helping and encouraging them to attain relevant professional qualifications.

Plastex is a Registered Member of FENSA, Constructionline and the British Plastics Federation. We are an Accredited Contractor under the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme and are certificated under the Construction Skills Card Scheme.

In 2006 and again in 2008, Plastex were G-Awards Finalists in the Social Housing Project of the Year category. In 2006 we were also a finalist in the Training & Development category.
