Plastex embodies environmental sustainability in every aspect of its ethos.

We ensure our material and supply chain partners take steps to prevent pollution, minimise waste, maximise recycling and to reduce energy, raw material and water consumption. That’s why the PVCu we use contains organic rather than lead stabilisers; its why our timber windows originate from managed forests that operate a sustainable replanting policy; and its why we purchase our electricity from a carbon-neutral supplier.

Then, we have put in place audit procedures and Lean Manufacturing techniques and other measures that ensure our own environmental practices meet the same exacting standards we demand of our suppliers. For example, when replacing vehicles in our fleet, minimising emission levels is one of our foremost priorities.

Finally, we keep abreast of technical development to maximise the thermal performance of our products. This means, in turn, the end-users can reduce their dependence on fossil fuels, resulting in a lower depletion of finite resources and a reduced carbon footprint.
