Plastex is committed to the highest standards of Occupational Health & Safety Best Practice. We meet all statutory legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and its subsequent regulations, ACOPS and industry standards.

Health & Safety awareness is embodied in our culture from Director level right through to production and installation operatives.

Overseeing this is a dedicated and appropriately qualified manager whose experience and practical knowledge are second-to-none. His job is to ensure rigorous observance of documented procedures and the ongoing updating of these to account for new working practices or legislation.

In the field, Site Supervisors and Installers undergo Health & Safety training as part of their wider training programme. In all cases this includes Asbestos Awareness training and training in the safe use of ladders, steps and EasiDec units. In addition, Supervisors are trained in First Aid and Scaffold Inspection.
