Lean Manufacturing and state-of-the-art machinery ensure Plastex achieves highest quality at keenest price. At the heart of the manufacturing is a computerised cutting, drilling and milling plant which automatically calculates the most efficient way of cutting bar length material.
The ‘lean’ philosophy extends to all aspects of the business. For example, all incoming paperwork is digitised and there is seamless computerised information sharing between departments to eliminate task duplication and transcription errors.
The Plastex system supports remote data entry, enabling Site Surveyors, using computerised laser measuring techniques, to relay their data back to base from site without transcribing it.
